NHL 27 Reveal Trailer

Here's what I like about the reveal trailer.

1. Presentation looks cool.
2. If this is true? each team plays differently and has their own strategy, and you can adjust strategy.
3. Each Hockey teams Stadiums look cool.
4. Home Goal celebrations look cool.
5. Franchise looks cool but I've never played it yet.
6. Great to have new Announcers and play by play.

What I want to know in Be a Pro is?

1. Do they still have the form score in Be a Pro, if they do did they change it at all?
2. Do they have Minor league play in Be a Pro?
3. Do they have a Playable All-Star game in Be a Pro?
4. Do the Strategies for teams work in Be a Pro?
5. Did they show trades and who got traded in Be a Pro, injuries and what injuries and how long is the injury?
6. Can you negotiate Contracts in your Be a Pro?
7. Did they change anything on Be a Pro?

That's all I can think of right now.

GM connected was the #1 ask in the community so they at least checked that. Not having it for PC was #2 and that's missing. Right now it looks like the NCAA tease from HUT won't be followed up on so that is another big miss. With be a pro being such a disaster last year it is critical that they improve it this year. Disapointing that they didn't have a full reveal like Madden and CFB, so we will have to wait for the drip again this year. Looks like only a Christmas sale possibility again for me this year. Haven't paid for this game directly in like 4 years. 

Already reading that this GM connected won’t have the ability to trade with or play games against CPU teams, only other user teams? I hope that’s not true. 

More like “connected 1 season.” Hardly a true GM connected mode when you need all users to fill the teams and can’t play against or trade with anyone but users. 

We're gonna need some confirmation on how "Connected Franchise" works.. Franchise mode is the 25 year mode, Connected Franchise would indicate 25 seasons together with a draft, year over year turnover, etc. If this is Connected Season mode everyone is going to be devastated. 

I feel like GM Connected needs AI teams in addition to human controlled ones to succeed. People with fewer friends will not be able to get a full experience in a 3 man league. Also really hope that it's not just one singular season. Really glad you brought it back, but scared of it flopping if those turn out to be true. I really hope if that's the case right now you will implement the changes further down the line. 

This is, without any shred of a doubt, completely intentionally misleading marketing by EA if connected franchise is only for 1 season. I am hoping I am wrong but the fact they use this incredibly specific language that I am putting in bold and italics below, that I took directly from the pre-order site, pretty much confirms that they are trying to pull a fast one on us which is pathetic for such a massive company:

"Create a league with friends, manage your roster, and compete head-to-head across a full online season with up to 32 human-controlled teams, flexible settings, schedules, and commissioner tools."

No mention of any gameplay updates is concerning. I’m afraid they feel the long awaited GM Connected will please fans and therefore the gameplay will be the same as nhl 26. Could any devs share any light on this? Will be a hard pass otherwise.
