Drafted Player Not Available to Call Up to NHL Lineup - Nolan Patrick

How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 32 Team Expansion Draft in Franchise Mode - with new created team, after expansion draft, draft nolan patrick.
What happens when the bug occurs? After I draft my team and go into the draft, I had the second overall pick with which I drafted Nolan Patrick. Then I signed him to a 3 year deal. When I go to roster moves, he is not listed as in the NHL or in the system......so I can not move him into my NHL lineup by calling him up. I cannot add him to my NHL lines or my AHL lines, I can still see him when I want to add him to my trading block, or if I want to view contracts or progress (which he has none because he cannot play in the NHL or AHL). I do not have more than 50 players under contract, currently at 42. I did a 32 team expansion draft in franchise mode when the game first came out and was able to draft him and call him up to use in my NHL lineup.
What do you expect to see? I should be able to call Nolan Patrick up and put him into my lineup.
