Hi, everyone.
Deleting a new console generation (Xbox Series X/S or PS5) team will not make you eligible for the content migration.
Per the Dual Entitlement FAQ: Players who start playing NHL 22 on PlayStation®4 or Xbox One (current gen) and who have NOT started a HUT team on the new console generation will be able to transfer their HUT Team value and progress to PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S (next gen) NHL 22.
Oh well, looks like I'm done playing for the year.
See you next time, maybe.
How you gonna expect me to get home with a new console and not play my favorite game first ... with that kind of fine print, who needs a new console? HAHAHAHA holy ships on the ocean.
Peace out, dudes. Enjoy spending your money on cards that mean diddly squat. You've hooked this old fish time and time again. My lips are gone, boys. The will to play died tonight.

It's truly sad how pathetic the EA NHL side of this company is. It is absolutely ridiculous the lack of communication on this topic completely screwing over anyone who has recently bought a ps5 and simply opened up their ps5 hut account without knowing this. Just keep doing what you do and losing paying customers for this game.
Here is what is so ridiculous....I have a ps4 and started HUT this year and have put in tons of hours without spending a penny on packs to get a stacked team of untradeables. Got a ps5 early November and logged into the game including my HUT account. Have not played a single game on ps5 HUT. I have continued to play ps4 waiting to be able to transfer my team and then sell my ps4 and just play hut on ps5. Now I can't do that because it was not communicated. My toddler communicates better than EA.

-Literally nothing in here about already having a ps5 account, leave it to EA to tell people a few days before that you can't
