Having this issue as well. Frankly, it completely breaks franchise mode. It is the first time in 10 years that I completely stop playing NHL this early after release.

@Phoenix0029 Me too man. Makes it completely unplayable. Been a long time buyer of these games and this is by far the worst most bug infested version.
