Input lag

I experience the same fat man lag %99 of the time.

the lag is gross.   

lag is in all HUT modes.  SB, Rivals, HC, Hut Rush, & challenges.  

when i play this game i can notice all the little laggy nuances.     Its not always the same amount of lag.  It varies. 
The timing for winning faceoffs is sometimes draw early or sometimes draw late based on the lag.  Sometimes i have to wait for the refs arm to be on its way down to move the stick to win the faceoffs and other times its when the refs are first starts to move up and sometimes in between   

i can notice my player with the puck speed up and slow down while skating in a straight line.  Its like the player will go from hustle to no hustle and hustle again.  And its kind of a repetitive rhythm.     Then theres the obvious things like my players are always 2 steps behind my opponent. Switching to defense to defend a rush and the player i switch to takes some weird step/stride in the wrong direction Everytime i switch to him which basically makes my defender beat.  

i notice my AI skates faster then my player im controlling.   My AI controlled V. Hedman blew the doors off my Mcdavid Xfac to a puck. 🤯

im F2P and have 12 top xfact cards. I put a lot of time into the game.  all maxed on upgrades and get out hustled by teams of 82-84 base cards.  WTH.  

i manage to find ways to play around the lag but its still horrid to deal with.   

i had a crap ISP during nhl21 and constantly had 140+ms ping and still managed to be in Div3. 

this year i have perf isp 22ms and stuck in div 6. 

i watch people playing on twitch and YT and it looks like they are playing a completely different game.   Players stop, start, turn, and stick handle crisply and quickly like its supposed to be.     My version of the game is school bus turns.   50/50 puck battles always go to my opponent.  Passes are sloooooow.      

i have replay clips of goalies catching pucks thru the back side of the glove webbing.    And apparently EA & Dyson have teamed up to design a goalie catch glove bc the puck will get sucked into the glove off the ice from 2-3ft away.

its awful and feels like if we are not “in the club” then we get the crap version of the game.    

then theres those games every once in a blue moon that play right!!!  I can deke, i can VC skate back and forth and look like im defying physics!!! i can do anything and everything and destroy opponents ranked way higher then i am.

Theres has to be a reason for this crap. I hope someone figured it out and shares.    Till then we are just screwed. 

@FredboogerI have spent $0 on packs this year ONLY because of the server issues with this game. I've literally spent thousands of dollars in the past few years in HUT to get the best team you can possibly buy. EA gets no money from me until the game is playable. First year I've stuck to it and kept my money. Just need people to quit spending money on the game. I used to think spending money would only help the company with the game but that's clearly not been the case with how broken the game is every year. EA probably gets rid of xfactors next year or make them so much harder to upgrade because there is no way people are ripping as many packs this year with these cards out and easy to get for f2p.

When u have games like warzone with 150 players in a lobby and it plays like it should , there is no explanation why ea would have such problem with their servers. As I was reading this my big thought is why can the game usually feel better with 120ms ping on P2P than it does on 10ms with servers?  Then I also came to the conclusion that if you have EVER played a single game that did NOT "act up" and then played 100 games that did, the fact that it worked that one time should be enough proof that your connection is NOT the problem. If your connection was TRULY the problem then it would not have worked right ever.

I don't understand why I'm always matched up against Quebec players from NC on the Virginia server and my connection is worse than against anyone else. There is clearly something with their connection up in Quebec. It is so unbelievably delayed against anyone up there even though if we are on the Virginia server i should have a 2-3x better connection and yet I get the worst input delay of all time against them. It literally makes zero sense unless the server routing is just literally so bad that they are on their QC server and i'm playing against their 3 ping. I've been put on the Texas server which is like 3 servers away from mine and it was a bit laggy but way better for input delay.  GO BACK TO P2P

I know that Quebec has a server but I'm connected to Virginia here in NC which is 20 ping. 3x closer distance to the server than anyone up there could be to that. Yet my games are so unplayable it's not even funny. It legit plays like 200 ping skating in mud. Like my players are 40 overall playing 90s. I'm sure it's my connection when I can play a game right after or before and it's fine. Literally game to game the connection is different yet I'm only ever connecting to my 20 ping server. But yeah EA I'm sure it's my internet. I have 2 ISP one cable 1 gig and 1 fiber 1 gig both completely different companies and lines yet they are both unplayable. Couldn't be more happy that I spent $0 on packs this year in HUT. I'm so sick and tired of matching up against Quebec players 9/10 games when I'm in NC.
