Its sad most all other sports franchises have supported PC versions while NHL doesn't. I know many people that have both a PC as well as a console and would still opt to play on PC if they were given the chance myself included. The PC user-basse has only been getting larger, many who grew up playing games on consoles now have jobs and a use for a desktop computer in their lives, and many now use that instead of a console. Claiming the reason for not releasing the game on PC due to either low volume of players or poor retention based off outdated data from games from 10+ years ago is an utter misrepresentation of the amount of people who are disappointed every year and would like to see the series return to PC.

So just today Madden 23 was announced for PS4™, PS5™, Xbox One, Xbox X|S and PC. The old gen systems and PC system will NOT be getting the next-gen features. This is what would happen with the PC edition of NHL. You'd get 1 year of it being up to date with stuff and after that it would just be the same exact game but with a new number slapped on it. So while the idea of PC sounds amazing it wouldn't be executed by the lack of effort/funding on the other side.
So since Madden and FIFA had returned to PC they haven't been given the proper treatment.
But we would still get the game.....

Exacly this shhit happend to the NHL PC versions in the late 2000's. I remeber NHL 2009 for PC was exacly the same game as NHL 08 and 07, only PS and Xbox versions was getting the proper treatment.
If we can have a PC version, then EA must do it properly or just skip it.
