Stuck on "Checking rosters" when trying to access any online mode

Why isn't there any answer to this issue when somebody else may have the same issue?

Im also having the infinite checking roster screen

same exact thing here... just got the game today and it wont work however my friends were all able to be playing online... looks like we've been screwed by EA

I also just got the game... and my friend who has had it for a while can play online... weird

My check rosters screen is solved... didn't do anything, must of been something on EA's end

Did this start working for you? The last post from Bearclaw8005 says it all of a sudden started working.

I had this same problem yesterday when trying to play online for the first time. In the Rosters screen I also tried downloading one of the rosters (latest or any of the older ones) and it just showed a Downloading screen that never went away.

I hope it was just a problem on the EA server that's now fixed. I'm going to try again tonight. The friend I was trying to play had played online in the past and already had the roster dowloaded and his was working fine. I could see number of players online so it was at least partially connected to the EA server.

Same thing as Bearclaw8005. I tried this morning and it "magically" worked.

So it should work for you as well. Keep us posted and tell me if it's working.

If it does, I'll flag this thread as reseolved.

tried again myself this morning but still the same result.. i will be trying again later to see if i can get past this **bleep** but we will see.
