All my expansion packs are gone due to the switch to EA App

I am incredibly frustrated, I attempt to go on origin to play the sims 4 and it tells me the app no longer works, fine whatever I go to download origin again on my PC and it says I have to download EA app instead. I do that, make an account with EA and I go to get on the sims 4. It have all of my own games that I have saved, but none of my expansion packs are listed as purchased. I go to this forum where they still have not solved this issue regarding missing content and EA’s suggestion is to take screenshots of the purchased content on Origin to show that it’s been purchased, how am I supposed to do that when I cannot access Origin?! Am I supposed to go through years of online bank statements to prove I purchased content?! I did not want to switch from Origin to EA app, I did not want any of this frustrating * to happen I just wanted to play a game I have paid over $100 on and now I cannot play it as all of my expansion packs are gone. Just give us Origin back or at least reimburse me for my goddamn money I’m so sick of you * for driving prices up the wall and I refuse to re-buy content I’ve already paid for.

    If you're not seeing any transaction details for your games in your order history and your expansions aren't showing in your game library, then you're most likely logging into the incorrect EA account. You'd need to login to the account that your games were all originally purchased on, and you'll see everything in your game library available to download and play again.

    If you need help locating that original account, that's something the live support team can help you with- here on AHQ, we don't have access to those specific account details.     If you're not seeing any transaction details for your games in your order history and your expansions aren't showing in your game library, then you're most likely logging into the incorrect EA account. You'd need to login to the account that your games were all originally purchased on, and you'll see everything in your game library available to download and play again.

  • I can't even sign into origin account says credentials have expired ! I've paid a lot of money on these games now I can't even play any of my packs, the help team say I can't get them back, and that really sucks. I just bought 3 games that I have already bought , not wanting to spend all this money again for the games I already purchased. Please help us recover out games

    Hi @t4xw7q1b85lc,

    If you're getting an error that your credentials have expired, you'd just need to reset your account's password to login and access your content again. 

    Are you no longer able to access the current email associated with your account to reset the account password?

    Why are yall still giving these cookie-cutter * answers?? Give us our damn expansion packs back. It's just that simple.

  • I have this problem too but with the Sims 3 expantion packs. No time indication and all expantion packs GONE. A request to get a new code got my a copy-paste message of an earlier message: We can't.

    Yeah but no I had SEVERAL expansion packs and now its saying the app doesnt support them and has deleted them from my computer, but they are listed as able ot be bought UM HELLO???? I already bought them, this isn't a different account this is the SAME account. Either give me all my packs back or give me my money back!

    Mine have all transferred from the Sims 3 game to Sims 4. I never got the University pack for Sims 4, only 3 but it's moved and Seasons has gone.
