Origin Not Loading

Question

I played Sims 4 on my Mac last week, and it worked fine. Prior to all this, I kept up on the Origin updates. When I went to play last night, Origin wouldn't load. It continues to say that it is loading, but makes no progress on it (see pic). I have tried the following:

I updated my computer (macOS Catalina version 10.15.7) and restarted. I have also cleared the cache.

I looked into the Origin reset tool, but it comes up with the error message (see pic).

I am pretty bamboozled. What should I try next? Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

Did you manage to fix it? I’m having same issue with it not loading! Tried re installing it but does nothing :(

I am having the exact same issue.&nbsp; I downloaded two new kits and have been unable to open Origin since.&nbsp; According to the EA app Origin won't be discontinued until April so I'm not sure why I can't use it.&nbsp; The EA App isn't working for my computer because I have an older Mac version.&nbsp;

Origin was discontinued long ago. You need to download the EA App and use that.
