Origin not working...

I still use Origin on my mac, because I don't have the new iOS to support the EA app. My issue is that Origin is stuck on the "Connecting to Origin..."-window, and it won't open, no matter how long I leave it loading for. I've tried to un- and reinstall Origin, shut down my mac, Troubleshooter... Nothing is working. My wifi is fine, I don't know what to do, I just want to play Sims!!! Please help me:(((
