Alice Madness Returns: My progress won't save at all. HELP PLEASE.

Hi there, Happy Holidays y'all. PLEASE help me. I've been playing Alice Madness Returns, but I have to start over from the very beginning anytime I exit the game or my Xbox falls asleep, despite logging in.

I'm signed into Xbox 360° and Alice Madness Returns is supposed to be compatible, but my progress just doesn't save. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and resetting my console entirely, but no matter what I do, my progress won't save. Is there anything else I can do? I can't really just sit and continuously play the game with no breaks because I have a one year old so any suggestions would be wonderful. Thanks guys. I have an Xbox One, everything's brand-new to my knowledge, and I purchased the game this morning 😭 The game is also completely updated and is totally functional....aside from my data just....not saving.

    I’m having the same issue except it won’t make me start at the very beginning, it’s like 5 steps forward and three back when I close the game. Super frustrating and I feel like I’ve tried everything.
