EA Help Live Chat Don’t See

I contacted the live support representative from the help page a few hours ago. However, when I want to connect to live support, I can no longer see the live support button. Only articles appear. However, when I log out of my account, that is, when I click on the same problem without logging into any account, I see the live support button. So when I log in to my account, the live support button disappears. Did an error occur in my account because I connected to live support a few hours ago? Could there be a restriction? Could there be a rule that you can connect once a day?

    Same issue here...they closed the cases as resolved without any answer. I did never reach the chat as well so thats that. Now there is no chat option available anymore. I have made a case to my credit card company and hope they will remove the double charge ea made.

    Hey there, 

    The chat option is available depending on the subject selected. Usually, if you need assistance updating the EA account, the chat option will appear.

    How to chat with EA Help

    1. Log in to your EA Account.
    2. Select the topic that best describes your issue. If an advisor can help, a contact option will be available under your help topic.
    3. Select Chat with us or Start chat.
    4. Fill in the contact form with your:
      • first name
      • last name
      • e-mail
      • platform
      • subject (a short description of your issue)
      • attachments (e.g. screenshots, documents, links).
    5. Select Send.
    6. A chat window will open when you’re transferred to an advisor.

    After you contact us, we’ll create a case for you. You can view it and keep track of updates in My Cases. You’ll be notified of changes to your case via email.

    So yeah, that is the wrong answer right threre, no support button for double charges or refunds??? How insincere is EA? Scamartist level? Treating customers less than trash? I have made the only option is to report this extra charge to my creditcard company as ea has no support.....how can a big company like ea operate on this level of incompetence?

    Hi EA_cuervo​ ,

    Would you be able to give me any tips to get someone to follow-up on existing Support cases?

    I have a case where I previously chatted with an agent in order to find a resolution for a Sims 3 add-on I purchased being unable to be downloaded. To sum up the issue, the code is showing that it has been used already and is not able to be added to my Sims 3 account, so the agent informed me that I would need to contact Support again within 72 hours to obtain a refund.

    I went back to the case I had with him, and there is no longer an option to use the Chat function.
    I created a new case yesterday because I found a Help page that allowed me to send an email, so I have referenced the previous case in the new email, but it still has a status of New. I am just worried there might be a time sensitive component to this because the agent said to reach out within 72 hours, and I have been unable to successfully do so barring the email I sent yesterday.

    Hey Jay, I'm sorry to hear you're having problems contacting them again. You can try to reach them via chat once again and then mention the previous case number. If you're not getting the chat option when creating a new ticket, please try selecting "EA account" as the product and "I want to update my EA account information" as the subject. That should give you the option to contact via chat.
