Find Game search automatically cancels in Online Leagues

Whenever I try to find a game in Online Leagues in the league menu, when I select Find Game the search starts but only searches for maybe, 5 seconds then stops on its own without any input from me. I...

Hey @JustBoeser,

Thanks for the video showing this issue! Have you tried any particular troubleshooting steps so far?

Which platform are you playing on here? If you're on Steam, I'd definitely start by repairing the game with these steps just to make sure there aren't any corrupted files potentially causing issues.

Otherwise, I'd try going through the steps below to see if this could be cleared up via some connection troubleshooting. In particular the steps in the first link to power cycle your router and try clearing or changing your DNS would be a good place to start.

Im playing on the Series S and have tried all of the above and am still experiencing the same issue

    Thanks for giving those steps a shot, @JustBoeser.

    Just a couple other things to check, are you on a wired or wireless connection currently?

    Do you have any other peripherals plugged in aside from your controller? Headset, secondary controllers, any other devices, etc.? Can you test this without any other devices connected on the off-chance that's having an effect here?

    It may also help to try clearing the Alternative Mac Address with the following:

    1. Press Start at the main Xbox menu.
    2. Navigate to Settings.
    3. Select Network Settings, Advanced Settings, Alternative Mac Address, and finally Clear.
    4. Restart and shut down the Xbox. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the console and wait two minutes.

      @EA_Mako I think the issue at hand is linking the profile to the ea server? I signed in w another account and it allowed me to link and then play pennant race. When I went to my original account never even initiates the link. So the online search searches and then just stops.

        Thanks! That does indeed shed a little more light on a potential issue here.

        If you check your EA account connections page here, that should show you any platforms linked to your EA account.

        You would be prompted to link an EA account the first time you access any EA title from that particular Xbox (or other platform) account, so it's possible the account(s) linked are a bit older.

        If you have multiple accounts of the same platform linked that may also be causing an issue.

        If that's the case it would be worth going through these steps to unlink other accounts of the same platform - if you have two Xbox accounts linked, for example, you'd want to remove the one you're not playing from.

        If you're unable to remove a duplicate account linked on that page, please contact support directly so they can assist and make sure you only have the primary account linked to avoid issues.
