I installed spore on a new pc and lost all of my progress

Can anyone help me? I transferred the My Spore Creations folder from one PC to another so I have them, but the worlds are not unlocked like they were. I though this would happen automatically. Is there a solution?

Thanks

  • Your SPORE data is stored in a different place. This contains basically everything you need such as creations (pollination) and save games. On your other PC; Do the following

    1. Go to the following directory: C:\Users\<YOUR USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming

    2. Copy the 'Spore' folder or move it to a place where you'll transfer it to the new PC.

    3. Go onto your new PC and follow the same directory as instruction 1.

    4. Delete the Spore folder there, since this one doesn't have the data you want. Then move the Spore folder you want in there.

NOTE: Appdata may be hidden; In this case you can do the following:

    1. Press Windows + R. A run box will open

    2. Type %appdata% - This will take you to the AppData folder, then you just need to follow into \Roaming\

Once you've done, load up Spore and confirm your creations and planets are there. Best of luck. 🙂
