PSN linked to random EA account

Hello everyone,

I’m looking for advice or escalation help regarding my PSN account being hacked and linked to someone else’s EA account.

Background:

My PSN account was compromised.

The hacker linked MY PSN to their own EA account.

I contacted EA support and explained the situation.

The EA advisor asked me to go through the account recovery process for the hacker’s EA account, but all the details required are related to the hacker, not me.

I can’t provide information about an account I’ve never owned.

My Concerns:

The only recovery process EA support has offered is for an account that was never mine.

I don’t understand how my PSN could be linked to someone else’s EA account without my consent.

I want to escalate this because I believe there may be a security loophole or an error in the account linking process.

What I Need:

A way for support to verify my ownership of the original PSN account instead of details about the hacker.

Steps to escalate this matter within EA or PlayStation support so that I can regain control or have my accounts unlinked.

Advice from others who may have faced a similar issue.

Thank you for any guidance or escalation contacts. I’m very frustrated and want a fair resolution.

I’m having the same issue for the most part. My sister had a ymail that she used a long time ago, and it was linked to my PlayStation but it was her EA account. She no longer has access to that email, so I can’t unlink my PSN account and link it to my own EA account now. So I can’t claim my Twitch drop rewards because I need to link my EA and PSN account, but I simply just can’t do this. Please someone help! There’s gotta be a way to sever the tie between the two accounts.

If they could give us the access to do it every 1 year or so would be understandable, but i do not see what its the problem

I’m honestly shocked they haven’t unlinked it anyways since the email hasn’t been in use for so long. I use to have a Garmin account but that account was deleted since it hasn’t been used in years, so why hasn’t EA done the same you know? Also are they gonna see any of our messages? I didn’t know where else to reach out.

Hey, same issue here. I just bought a new PS5 and a copy of Battlefield, and when I launched it, the game said my account needed recovery — but it showed an email address that isn’t mine. I’ve never linked my PSN to any EA account before and never played EA games other than those from PSN Premium, so this looks like a wrong or fraudulent li. EA Support keeps asking me to go through account recovery for the hacker’s EA account, but obviously I can’t provide any of their details — it’s not my account. I’ve failed verification several times because all the info belongs to someone els. My own EA account is fine and has never been connected to PlayStation, but now I can’t play the game because my PSN is stuck to this random EA accountI really think there’s a security issue or bug in how EA links accounts. If anyone here managed to get their PSN unlinked or escalated this successfully, I’d really appreciate any tips.
