Spore Crashes After Loading Civ Save

I Have a Civ Stage save file in spore, and about 5 or 8 seconds after loading, the game freezes and crashes, then closes out, the only way i can find to help is to enter the city planner, which keeps it from crashing, but after closing out of the planner, it crashes, i was also given a crash log, which states, 

"type: ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x00000028 address: 0x00cffd53"

Could Someone Please Help? None of my creations are corrupted
