F1 25 unable to save game

I just downloaded the F1 25 game and booted it up, only to be greeted by a "Load failed" screen. I have two options. First one is to retry, but that does not work, and option two is to continue without saving. As a result of this, none of my progress is saved. 

I'm playing the game on PC, Steam.
