GRID Legends Xbox Series X Frame rate drops

I don't seem to remember the frame rate being this bad when I played it a while back, but I just reinstalled it and am noticing some atrocious frame drops as you said. Quite disappointing.

Such a shame as well when it works it's visually really nice.

I also checked with a couple of Xbox players I race online with. One is on series X other on S both of them reported framedrops since last patch, especially noticeable in rain/snow/storm. Fuji was pointed out as well.

For me it's been noticeably worse on the city tracks. The London track especially framerate takes a massive dive in that section with the really fast right left right left chicane.

Exactly my experience too sadly.

So I read back the 6.0 update patch notes and it does say this:

• Several stability adjustments have been made, reducing the frequency of game crashes
• Several visual improvements have been made throughout the game to tracks and environments

It would be nice if a developer actually told us what exactly was changed so at least PC users can downgrade that specific setting. If I had to guess its object LOD but regardless.

Unfortunately I don't know what can be done for console users ☹️

Hey EA/Codies, you introduced this issue following the Winter Bash update. We did not purchase the product (game) with this issue. You really are obligated to fix it IMO. 

It's such a shame as some of the races are amazing, but as soon as you see is raining you know that you're gonna have frame rate drops.

It's happening on other races too but the weather effects are the biggest problems.

I have tried several "hacks":

- Disable hands and wheel

- Change Xbox output resolution to 1080p

- Disable Quick Resume for this game

Nothing changes. It still drops FPS at any time.
