Impulse triggers with Xbox S/X controller

I don't have any feedback on the triggers with an Xbox S/X controller when using the throttle and brakes triggers. I have the feedback+rumble option ON.

I have rumble on the controller but none on the impulse triggers. Other games like F1 2023, Forza Horizon or Forza Motorsports you feel the locking brakes and accelerating on the triggers.

Is this normal in the game? Are the Xbox controller impulse triggers not supported? I played the game both on PC with the Game Pass and Steam.

    there's a list of impulse triggers supported games on PCgamingwiki and i played a couple of those games without ever feeling the triggers. I found a discussion on steam which provides a replacement file of the xinput.dll .
    since Grid 2 and Dirt 3 run on the same engine, another user said the same file works on Dirt 3 too.
    I'll be trying it on some more games from that list, since i never felt the trigger vibration before.
    I just tried CarX Street today, which makes use of the impulse triggers perfectly. i completely forgot about that feature until i felt it for the first time in that game.
