RR3 - Ford Puma Rally, Tier 13 Speed Record

This latest event in RR3, the Ford Puma Rally, Tier 13, Speed Record..anyone else having issues with just not being able to reach the 219kph..? Of course I could tip in a mountain of gold and might get it, but I have the required minimum, and after 30 attempts, the bots aren’t slowing..is this another glitch, or is it designed to force my hand into my gold pocket..!

    Confirmed response I received tonight that yes, nothing is wrong with the game, there are no bugs or issues. However, you need to upgrade your car to get the speed record. Apparently not fully, but certainly more than the min PR. Now that the event is finished, you have to buy the car for M$2.25M..

    The RR3 Wiki shows a lot of cases, apparently it is impossible to make the topspeed due to the car's limitations. Gotta fix this, give away the car along with the remaining VP points  or return us the GC spent to reach 3333333.

    I have lodged a technical complaint with EA. Apparently going to look at it, hopefully sooner than later..!

    Further confirmation from EA that they now realise multiple punters are having issues with this particular challenge, and asked me to be patient, as it may take time. I reminded them I only have 1 hour left before the challenge ends..! Perhaps compensation is on the cards..

    Bad news, just read at RR3 Wiki that somebody learned that the dev team will do nothing about it...
