v1.09 Patch Discussion

Yellow ! marker is still on in the story menu. Rest seems fixed now.

It seems there is some progress here but what about the ultrawide screen issues?

When are those gonna get fixed?

I have platinum but it still says 0/9 races in the gauntlet. Still yellow markers everywhere. Good job🤣 And in the sponsor objectives it says 0/3 but all 3 objectives are green. 

Dear CM,

this is not funny anymore.

After 3 patches, you did not fix the following:

- menu yellow markers

- sponsors not working

- menu button issues

- team names

- livery editor issues

- event standing screens

- career progress issues

- nemesis system issues

and more.

Menu is the storefront of your game.

Your storefront is a mess. IT DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY.

1.09 seems to be another non-patch for the PC version.

incredible! Widescreen Bug with rewind and black bars after resume still not fixed, HUD Display still in 16:9 on Widescreen. This was my last CM Game. it's just sad

Ok first off just want to say thanks for Grid Legends. As of now it’s my favorite racing game and hope the game gets the support it deserves. 

that being said, yes the game has been a buggy mess. But I am hopeful. Fast forward to the latest update 1.09. After downloading and playing a bit I see that yellow markers and sponsors events/tracking is still not working properly. But for myself I decided to do what I didn’t want to do which is first reset progress followed by a start new save file in the options menu. 

friends. I don’t want to get anyones hopes up but after doing that and playing for a couple hours just blowing thru the game everything is working perfectly. Sponsored events tracking no issues and yellow markers are not popping up. Also haven’t seen any car menu visual glitches. 

i will keep you updated. 

I’m am playing on series s. Have the deluxe edition. Running latest 1.09

my guess is that maybe, maybe it’s our save files that are corrupt and the patch is not able to do its job properly because certain aspects may be locked due to bugs before the updates. . (If that makes sense) 

When there is a second monitor the mouse does not leave the screen where the game is, you have to run a program or something that makes the game go to the background so that the mouse can go to the next screen. It's the only game that happens to me.

The yellow markers continue.

Otherwise it's perfect. I've played 2 hours and it hasn't crashed. Great job developers!

I dream and wish that they include a daily race system with an online pu tuation system, even if it's basic. I think if they put that multiplayer system, the game can be extended to many more players.

Update after 2+ Addition hours of play. 

since My last post when i reset my progress, followed by starting a new save file.  I can confirm that sponsors are working properly. Green check marks with the correct number/number. So far I have completed 4 sponsors and everything is still without issues and unlocking perfectly. 

yellow markers are still not reappearing in my game in none of the menus (story, career, garage, team). 

only time I saw a yellow marker reappear was when it was tied into a event that I haven’t unlocked yet. Once I unlocked event and checked it out, yellow marker never came back. 

still sticking with previous guess that anyone who is having issues may be because there save file predates the patches that claims to fix the issue in effect somehow not letting the patch work as intended. 

Im not a developer but that’s just my guess. Either that or something may be wrong with the “mechanic development” maybe when buying a specific perk it may be messing with the numbers? Hence cause if the bug… idk? I only say that since I have not purchased any of them since starting over. 

all I know is I can verify in my case that resetting progress followed by starting new save file has fixed all issues for me. 

will keep updating if anything changes or bugs resurface. 

i will try and take pictures on next update.
