4-Player Lobbies Broken (Backend Profile Corruption) & EA Help is a Dead End
I am posting this here because EA Help has made it completely impossible to speak to a human being. I am experiencing a game-breaking matchmaking bug on Xbox Series S that is completely isolating my profile from 4-player games, and I have absolutely no way to reach anyone at EA to fix it.
The Issue
3-player lobbies work perfectly fine. The exact microsecond a 4th player joins the lobby, Everyone is instantly disconnected.
How It Happened
I previously did a full reinstall of the game. It actually worked temporarily after that, right up until I attempted to play with one specific friend. The moment they entered the lobby, the connection crashed, and my profile has been completely broken ever since.
Now, even when that specific "problem player" is not online, I still get disconnected the moment any 4th player enters the lobby. This clearly indicates that the lobby crash injected a corrupted network token straight into my EA profile data, which is saved on EA's backend cloud servers.
Troubleshooting Already Attempted
To save the forum moderators from posting generic copy-paste advice, please know that I have already tried the following system-level steps:
Performed a full 72GB game reinstall 4 times (which only worked once until the conflict happened again).
Cleared the Xbox Series S local cache and performed a hard power cycle on the console.
Deleted local console save data and cleared the "Reserved Space" multiplayer cache partition.
Unplugged my home router for 5 minutes to completely flush the NAT routing tables.
None of this works because the second the game boots up, it downloads my active, corrupted profile state directly from EA's servers.
The Support Nightmare
I tried to contact EA Help to ask an advisor for a manual backend Account Sync Reset to clear this glitched matchmaking token. However, the current support is nonexistent. The automated live chat is a useless bot that goes in infinite circles, refusing to route to a real person. To make matters worse, EA has shut down its support presence on X, leaving paying customers completely stranded with zero human utility.
Is it possible for a Community Manager or Moderator to please escalate this to the technical team? My EA ID is effectively poisoned on your matchmaking servers, and I just want to be able to play a round of Ryder Cup golf with my friends.
