Crowds in way

Ok how do you get rid of the spectators or the crowds. On several of the challenges the crowd is standing in front of me where you can't even hit the ball on the green because it hits the crowd. And after the first shot the crowd is moved where you can actually hit the shot correctly

I've now found at least two instances where the crowd has interfered with the line of sight and swing zone on the first attempt of a challenge, completely wasting the first shot attempt. In challenges that require all 5 shots on the green, for instance, it makes completing the challenge impossible. I can't recall exactly where the first incident was, but the second is in the new challenges from the recent Quail Hollow tournament.

2023 Wells Fargo Championship - Day - Hole #2 Challenge

 - Land all 5 balls on the green

 - Hit 1 shot to within 5 feet

 - Hit 1 shot to within 1 foot

The first one is currently impossible because the first shot places you right in the middle of the spectators. Changing camera angle or shot type doesn't help. All you can do is take the swing and watch the ball go nowhere because it's impossible not to hit the leg of the person in front of you. Once you take the first shot, then it puts you in the correct position for the remaining shots. Best you can do is hit the green four times with the remaining shots.

I have the same problem Day 2 hole 2 people just standing in the way if i swing I'll take out about half dozen people.

This has been a problem since the game launched. I have had this issue on every challenge where the crowds need to part to make the shot. They have done a decent job of addressing what seemed like much more challenging issues like the putting. Why is this issue still unresolved? The game gets it right for 4 of the 5 shots. That says the programming exists to do it right. The thing that makes this extra frustrating is it leaves multiple challenges 1 star away from completion. So you are denied the highest reward because the game makes it impossible to achieve. It would suck but it would suck less if we could make the shot like the crowd wasn't there. At least then it would be possible to complete. Perhaps we can use the disabilities act as persuasion. Because all of the obsessive completionists like myself are going nuts over this issue!

Hi Everyone, 

Thanks for sharing this with the community. 

I wanted to check a few things, anyone still running into this please let us know the following:

• Which challenges does this happen in?
• Does this happen in the same spot after your first attempt or do you load into the match like this?
• Does this consistently happen in the same spot, or the same challenge?
• If possible would you be able to share a video of this?

I found a workaround 

So far this has worked for me on 3 challenges I couldn't complete before because of the crowds in the way on the first attempt. Try the following I hope it works for everyone:

From the round start page

1. Go into settings (2x RB on gamepad}

2. Under visuals find Crowd quality and select disabled

3. save changes then start the round/challenge and the crowds should be gone

Remember this is a global setting for the game so if you want crowds normally you will need to change the setting back to whatever it was once you are done with the challenge. This is for PC I don't know or have a way to check if this will work on consoles If you are not sure what I mean by: round start page I have included JPGs of the round start page and the settings page with this setting highlighted. I know I have been very frustrated by this issue for a while. I am sure many of you are also. Like I said I hope this works for everyone.
