Played this game few months ago in trial mode without any issues, bought yesterday on sale on Steam, but can't play due to error code 5, getting spammed by this message from fresh start. Tried everything in this post, reinstalled twice, even on another disk but no luck.

Any tips?

I have tried so many different ways with no joy, I have abandoned my game.

    Try to run the game as administrator, fixed the problem for me.

    @Seppper tried still no joy, why is EA sports not resolving their problem my soccer game works perfectly. I will never purchase a golf game from them again because they don't care.
