PGA Crashing when hitting Y/Triangle for quest reward.

Same issue with me on the PS5 when you get the prompt ‘press triangle to go to rewards’ everything locks up.

Worse still though - any daily quests completed during that round do not show as rewards if I force close the game then re-open it.

Do EAs QA actually get paid or are they just volunteers?

You DON'T win Reward Points when you complete daily quests, therefore the Reward tab is not shown because it is empty. You win Tokens when you complete daily quests. Enter the Pro Pass tab and you will see there that you are progressing even if the game has crashed.

Yes, there is a bug that causes the game to crash when you press Y or triangle when the popup appears, but you still win these Tokens. Just don't press Y or triangle when the popup appears. Everything is as it should be that the Reward tab does not shown after a crash even if you just won a daily quest.
