PS5 deluxe edition - Can't Play, only lets me play round with Scottie Scheffler

Just bought the full game on sale and having the same issue no matter what I do it only lets me play the first round with Scottie no other options I paid for the full game what’s going on?!

I am also having this same problem and I just bought the game tonight on PlayStation5, this is immensely frustrating
I have the same problem. Downloaded on PS5. Download is complete. EA Servers connected (at least it works on Fifa), but i can only play Scottie. When pressing start / options button, I see “lost connection: unable to connect to EA servers”. I have all connections though. Who can solve this or give me a refund asap? This is not acceptable months after release…
There's another thread about this but thought I'd join this gang as well. Brand new Play Station 5, bought the disc version of PGA and then it downloaded the updates. PS5 is plugged into the TV at home and on the wifi. Everythign seems to be working - internet says connected all green good to go. Can only play as Scottie S at the Masters. No instructions or practise challenges. I'll admit I started to play before I realised I even needed to create an account on ea.com there was nothing in the instructions about that but have now done so,. Second time we try and play (and explore more options) Variety of error messages but the main one being unable to connect to EA servers (top right) and something else about "checking to see if this content is gated?"
I've read over 300 posts on the same subject so it would seem we are not alone. Can EA / Sony Playstation please either fess up or just tell us they don't know what is causing it. Then we can all stop asking for a solution.

Just sharing my experience with this issue - you will stuck in the loop with Scottie S at Augusta because the GAME IS NOT FULLY DOWNLOADED/INSTALLED
The size of the game is approximately around 60GB (what i can see on my console is 58.74gb) - go to the game, click option on your controller and look for information in the drop down.
If the download status showing xgb/58.74gb, that means it’s still downloading- if you launch the game at this time, you’ll only be able to play with scottie s
Wait until it shows completed and the game size is 60gb - refer to the picture i shared
