Putting Swing Power and Swing Gauge Changed...now a guess
It is obvious things are being worked. Originally with the putt swing gauge. matching the first line in a putt swing would give you the right amount of pace to get close to the hole. This is no longer the case. You must take into account the run of the slope. That is fine as it makes it more realistic however on a longer putt, if there is a significant uphill slope, there is not enough power now in the backswing to get to the hole on many greens. This occurs with a full backswing of the putter. This is not realistic. You can always putt the ball off a green with too much power/pace in real life. This needs to be fixed. It is very frustrating to line up a putt correctly, do a full back swing and have the ball stop 10 feet short of the hole.
For sure, you can no longer count on the ball getting to the hole with the first line and you cannot get to the hole on significant uphill putts with a full back swing.
