Putting Swing Power and Swing Gauge Changed...now a guess

It is obvious things are being worked.&nbsp; Originally with the putt swing gauge. matching the first line in a putt swing would give you the right amount of pace to get close to the hole. This is no longer the case.&nbsp; You must take into account the run of the slope.&nbsp; That is fine as it makes it more realistic however on a longer putt, if there is a significant uphill slope, there is not enough power now in the backswing to get to the hole on many greens.&nbsp; This occurs with a full backswing of the putter. This is not realistic.&nbsp; You can always putt the ball off a green with too much power/pace in real life.&nbsp; This needs to be fixed. It is very frustrating to line up a putt correctly, do a full back swing and have the ball stop 10 feet short of the hole.For sure, you can no longer count on the ball getting to the hole with the first line and you cannot get to the hole on significant uphill putts with a full back swing.

If I understand the OP correctly, I agree with everyone here thaf it has always worked this way.

However.... I have been away from the game for a bit and played last night and the putting does seem a little different to me. I am nowhere as accurate with the weight of my putts. I have always been able to lag my putts inside 5 feet... usually inside 3 feet. But my first few putts blew by 8 feet.

I did switch to performance mode... not sure if it was me, thd new setting or a change in the game.

On the flipside, I have much better distance control on my approach shots.

Since returning my rounds have been -10 or better, on basically SIM settings, with additional aids disabled. But I do have green grids on.

This game is far too easy as it plays now.

It's nothing that I noticed, it works the same as it has from the beginning for me.

@machtoo I’ve not noticed any difference at all.

I’m confused when you say you lined it up correctly but it stops 10ft short. That seems user error to me and you not adding distance to your marker.

If you have a 15 ft putt that has a 5 inch uphill elevation, you’re not going to leave your marker at 15ft as it will stop way short. Depending on green firmness, and green bead speed, that 5 inch uphill putt, 15ft away should be marked anywhere between 22ft - 25ft
