Re: Series X shutting off

Hi there, @YourBoyPhil

It's possible your console is overheating. Make sure it's in a well ventilated area and the vents are dust/debris free. If that's not the case, is your console plugged in to a power strip? If so, try a different one or try plugging it straight in to a wall outlet.

  • I wish that was the simple solution. Its well ventilated and plugged directly into the wall. I run MSFS, call of duty, halo and forza with zero issues. It’s only when I launch and play PGA that it shuts my Xbox off. I get no error codes or anything. Has to be something in the game. I’ve already reset my Xbox, reinstalled the game with no success.

  • I don't. Im looking across the forum and many are complaining about game crashes, which is also happening to me. I searched across this EA form from battleflied and seems to be a EA issue.

We're not aware of any issues that are causing consoles to shut off. We'll keep an eye out for them. I can't think of anything else to suggest at the moment. You can try opening a case with an advisor here to see if they have any suggestions.

  • @EA_Aljo take a look at the post called " Xbox X|S Input Lag and Game Crashing" People in there are having the same issues.
