all of a sudden i'm no longer hitting the ball straight all the time. its showing my stick movement all over the place on some shots and i'm slicing it left and right. Did they make it more sensi...

@ELF014 I spent a little time alone at the lighthouse course and still see some shots miss a little but not as bad . I played at la cc and had 1-2 shots miss in comparison. Idk at this point what to think other than … Maybe it was because I was playing with a friend that we had troubles? Like you don’t think her Internet speed had anything to do with it, do you? It’s not the fastest.

Now that is a really good question.
On 2K23 they had an issue when you were watching your opponent hit the ball and what you saw was not what your opponent saw. I would see the ball rolling deep into the rough and into a sandtrap. My opponent would say that it was in the fairway.
I would think games would be designed to have all calculations done on the local device and the results pushed up to the servers out to the individual players in the game.
So to answer your question I hope not. That the internet would only be used to push up what had already been locally on her device. Meaning internet speed shouldn't affect her play.
But who knows... certainly not me.
- @ELF0 I was thinking of the p2p issues like R* games in particular. Like, if whoever I am playing with has slow Internet, it slows me down to their speed . So what then if their Internet is slow and causing lag during our swing , would it cause inaccurate shots ?
So, after playing several rounds alone in career mode, I’ve have none of the problems I had when I was playing match play with another player . I hadn’t played a lot of career mode but I’m happy to see everything works for me . I’ll try to have my friend host match play and see if we get the same results.

Like I said I would find it strange if things were calculated outside the local machine. It just seems like it is asking for trouble.
