Hello All - just a quick post to share that there seems to be a workaround in place, for the Seashooter Arena Bot issue:
The Bot’s score seems capped at 18 M, so if you can score higher than that, you can win & complete a win-streak.
I am getting matched with the 1 bot repeatedly, now (2nd bot has disappeared) but it’s plants load out has changed slightly (still impossible) and it’s score still jumps implausibly high early on - but it’s score stops at 18M - so it is just about possible to beat it & work towards the seed packets again…..
If it is a bot, why this forum is not allowing us to share it's name???
And will us get any compensation for the matches we lost against it?? Even after lowering the bot score to 18M makes it hard to beat with "unpaid" plants
Hello riugow! Good question, I've lost many gauntlets because of that "asyne" bot. Yesterday the bot score was that impossible 780,000,000 (!!), today is 18,000,000, still impossible to beat if you are a honest player like us!
I tried many variations, but the best scoring line up I found for this Arena Match was to Choose: Pea Vine, Torchwood, Primal Sunflower & Power Lilly - consistently scores in the region of 18.5 M to 21 M, usually about 20.7 M.
Mega Gatling Pea or Threepeater instead of Pea Vine / Sunshroom can get similar scores, but often less…
I can’t seem to score that high so I’m just screwed this arena is busted
Hello! The same issue for me:((( The bot has the nickname "asyne", it is my only opponent in Arena repeatedly and has the score of 780,000,000 every time! It's impossible to reach such a score, of 780,000,000. I've made screenshots, I attach here one of them.
The bot was given a limit of 18 mln. It can be defeated with such a set.

Yes it's fixed but at 1.600.000.000
Why introduce a bot into the arena? It takes all the fun out of the game.

My highest score only 6-7 K. And I need 50 points more to have point for sea shooter. Thank you for this hacker/bot I cannot make make to 50 more points.
Do you beat it 18 M? Can you share what kind of plant do you used?
I don’t find this to be any better. I have level m54 plants, but just lost to a bot playing with level 1&3 plants. Still makes the game unplayable. At this point I believe the bot is through the game and not a random cheater. They know it exists, but cap the score instead of actually fixing the problem. So now it’s just slightly less obvious that there is cheating going on.
Yes, I believe the bots are a part of the game - and from reading other posts it sounds like there is currently a problem with the matching or scoring algorithms that determine how difficult your opponent is.
i posted my plant choices / start picture / end picture earlier - so try using my plant layout & see what score you get?
For me, you need touchwood to stop the football zombies & boost damage with fire & steam peas / Power Lilly to activate the power tiles / Primal Sunflower is good for sun / then I used pea vine to boost damage - but you can choose Threepeater or MegaGatling Pea instead.
i start by planting pea vines in the back land squares / Lilly pad, torch wood & pea vine at the front & sometimes in column 3, the plant seashooter in every available water tile. As soon as plant food available, boost the yellow power tiles to generate sun & repeat. In the last minute, plant pea vine & seashooter on the back 3 yellow power tiles so when you boost the seashooters they boost adjacent Appeasemint plants……
Not easy, but possible at least - so Good Luck!
Its score stops at 18M???? I’ve no chance of beating that… it needs to be fixed!!!
That is not a workaround, they didn’t fix the automatic scoring or cheat, just limited the maximum score. I can’t reach 18M with the plants I have, so still can’t win one **bleep** game. I can’t wait to see this tournament finished.
Good call Norfolk Buoy. Just managed to beat it in the last 5 seconds. Asyne's scores now go up in increments of 1M every 10-15 seconds and didn't get higher than 18M
