I've just looked in the store and Dartichoke seeds are available for gems for the next 14 days and you can buy more than one!

It depends, since there are more ways to get Dartichoke seeds: Pinatas, Pinata Party, Epic Quest, Season etc.
I like this change since we can level him up past level 5!
