Error Messages | Link Account Issue | Plants vs Zombies 2 Reset Password
I recently purchased Plants vs Zombies 2 and every time I go to play the game it gets stuck in this never ending cycle of giving me the following error message, "CONNECTING Unable to connect to the EA Servers at this time. Please try again. (Rose)" and then it prompts me to reset my password. I don't understand how your servers could possibly be down still cause I've been trying all week to play. I've used the QR Code that pops up on the screen at sign-on and used the provided hyperlink web address to change my password both of which worked successfully. I need help because it's stuck in some sort of loop.
So, I decided to log in to my account to see if maybe EA requires a link to my XBOX S and it gives me the following error, "Your accounts can’t be linked because your Xbox account Red Otter 76 already linked to your EA Account for 91*****@disabled.ea.com. An EA Account can only be linked to one Xbox account in its lifetime." I don't understand what this means or how to fix it. And, I don't recognize the "91*****@disabled.ea.com" email address. I need help with this issue as well.
I'm not sure if these two issues are connected or not but I've used multiple suggestions from the message boards and did independent research on how to fix this but with no luck.
PLEASE HELP!
Hey @RedOtter76,
This certainly could be a related issue, as if the Xbox profile you're using is linked to an inactive or disabled EA account you may not have access to services requiring an account.
For this it would be best to get in touch with our support team directly as you won't be able to unlink the account or make any changes without having access to that EA Account. Since it's an apparently disabled account, our support team would need to help get that updated.
If you create a new case here and select Game Support > EA Account > I want to update my EA Account information or I need help logging in to my EA Account, you should be able to get in touch with the support team so they can take a look.
