My guess is that some of the CPU/GPU intensive instructions might have been erroneously left running in background so with older iOS hardware, the output frame rate dropes to about 1 FPS and with more capable hardware the result is excessive heat and heavy battery drain.Thanks @MAGICDAVESHROOM for confirming the problem is also happening on Android device as well, this pretty much also confirms when PopCap said 'things are heating up this summer' it means our gaming devices.... 👿

@Perfume-shroom92 I know , this game has seen me through cancer treatment and the loss of a close family member and off course the pandemic. It’s such a distraction from every day life .It’s a part of my daily routine which I need to stay well.

@Perfume-shroom92 I’m sure it is . Nearly all the patients I met during radiotherapy where playing some game on a mobile device ,my chemotherapy was given over 18 hours , it was killing my cancer and I was killing zombies. And I’m pleased to say it was successful. It’s more than a game to me .

@MAGICDAVESHROOM Its not....i have checked on both my devices and the stupid daisy is still spinning. So whatever they have fixed or think they have fixed, its not the restore purchase bug.

WHOO-HOO! With the latest update, I am FINALLY able to get into the Store AND after getting in and I even purchased things that I RECEIVED! OH HAPPY DAY!

@PowerToss I've just looked in google playstore to see if the update is ready for android and apparently it was already updated on 2nd Feb, i don't remember updating any of my devices.

@MAGICDAVESHROOM It appears your recent images are being stuck in quarantine.
Images in this post and the previous are all stuck in virus scan stage, maybe this forum needs some attentions from the Zcorp Help Desk.

@Perfume-shroom92 Sometimes EA lets a small percentage of android users update first to see what happens, apple won't do that so Google device users get the new update first.
I didn't realise that i had already been updated though.

@Perfume-shroom92 I keep my devices set so i have to manually update them, this is to stop snEAky software engineers (not necessarily from EA) slipping things onto my phone that i might not like or agree to. I have pvz2 on four devices so even my sieve like brain would have remembered having to update all four. The only software i allow to auto update is my anti virus software.

@MAGICDAVESHROOM You might need to check again....because in every single update, you don't have to auto update. You always already have the latest version so something must have gone wrong somewhere...

Unfortunately pvz2 in it's latest form (8.9.1) will no longer run on my ancient samsung galaxy s2 mini running android kit kat (4.4.2).
Pvz2 in the playstore has a message saying that my device isn't compatible with this version.
