Has anyone's account and game progress been restored or recovered yet by the EA support team?
It's been over a month since I first posted about this issue on the forum and I've had yet to hear from the support team. The contact form wasn't working for me so EA_Zoe asked me to send her my account/user details to forward directly to the support team but no word from them yet.
I messaged EA_Zoe directly almost two weeks ago to follow up and she never responded. I just checked my sent messages and it appears that the message hasn't even been read yet.
Not sure what to do at this point. I have no idea if recovering my account and game progress is even possible. It would be nice if EA would follow up on this so in the very least I can stop wasting my time if everything is permanently gone.

Sorry for the late response.
In order for the support team to restore your accounts you will need to send them a ticket.
In the eventuality that the contact form is still blocked for you, please try to use a browser you have never used before (For instance Microsoft Edge or Firefox)
Clearing the cache and cookies of your currently used browser may suffice in certain cases, but some settings/add-ons/proxy or VPN settings can cause issues as well. Using a new browser should ensure that none of these settings are interfering.
To send a ticket:
- Go to https://help.ea.com
- Click on "Contact Us"
- Select PvZ 2 in the list of products and click Next
- Fill out the form, including your Player ID
- In the drop down menu select "Technical support" and "Game progress issue"
- Fill out the email form
The support team will come back to you withing a few days.
