Lost all game progress and account is gone

I recently opened my plants vs zombies 2 app and all my game progress was gone and my account as well. I'm not sure what happened as I play the piñata parties almost daily and haven't had any issues since the most recent game update. Not sure what I can do to restore my account and game progress. I tried contacting EA support but I'm unable to submit the contact form (the form appears to get stuck once the submit button is clicked and it gets frozen with the progress indicator just displaying on the screen - doesn't look like the form actually completes and submits).

Please help me recover my game progress and account. I've been playing this game for a long time now and don't want to lose all my achievements and plants that I've purchased. At this point the game will only let me start all over again, which I definitely don't want to do.

    That goes to the same page I have been using. I still get hung up when trying to submit step 4.

    Thanks for the confirmation @jackarnal,

    I'm going to escalate that issue with the contact form. Unfortunately there's no phone option for PvZ 2. 

    I'll keep you updated as soon as I receive more information.

    Hi Zoe,

    Same as @jackarnal, the contact form is getting hung up on step 4 for me when I click the submit button. I've tried submitting the contact form using an iPhone as well as on desktop browsers for Chrome, Firefox and Safari and the problem persists.

    Dear Community manager,

    I do not have a pop-up blocker, the request simply hungs-up...

    Is it true that the user will loose all their progress ?  I been playing this game for almost 3 years and had over 800,000 coins and 2,000 gems...

    When will we have and official answer to the problem ?

    EA Team,

    Still waiting on the official response to this situation and unfortunately there is only silence from your part...  

    This is generating quite an emotional distress, not only because of the time lost on the application but also due to the fact that there is no answer on EA's behalf, have not been contacted yet...

    I expected more promptness from a market leading company.

    Has anyone's account and game progress been restored or recovered yet by the EA support team?

    It's been over a month since I first posted about this issue on the forum and I've had yet to hear from the support team. The contact form wasn't working for me so EA_Zoe asked me to send her my account/user details to forward directly to the support team but no word from them yet.

    I messaged EA_Zoe directly almost two weeks ago to follow up and she never responded. I just checked my sent messages and it appears that the message hasn't even been read yet.

    Not sure what to do at this point. I have no idea if recovering my account and game progress is even possible. It would be nice if EA would follow up on this so in the very least I can stop wasting my time if everything is permanently gone.

    Hi everyone,

    Sorry for the late response.

    In order for the support team to restore your accounts you will need to send them a ticket. 

    In the eventuality that the contact form is still blocked for you, please try to use a browser you have never used before (For instance Microsoft Edge or Firefox)

    Clearing the cache and cookies of your currently used browser may suffice in certain cases, but some settings/add-ons/proxy or VPN settings can cause issues as well. Using a new browser should ensure that none of these settings are interfering. 

    To send a ticket:

    • Go to https://help.ea.com
    • Click on "Contact Us"
    • Select PvZ 2 in the list of products and click Next
    • Fill out the form, including your Player ID
    • In the drop down menu select "Technical support" and "Game progress issue"
    • Fill out the email form

    The support team will come back to you withing a few days.
