Please fix the app crashing when you leave it.

Ever since an OS update late last year, the bottom of the screen has started to bring up OS apps. 

That makes it so if I go near the bottom of the screen to do things like buy a power up, use a leaf, dig up a plant, I run the risk of switching apps. 
If I am in the middle of a game when that happens, I have a 50% chance to come back and continue the game. The other half of the time, the app crashes and restarts, losing my progress, losing the game and blocking progress in Penny's pursuit or Arena competitions.
Please make the app remember where it was when you allow it to swap to another app users never intended to come up.
