Like everyone else I appear to have lost all my purchases, yes, I've recovered some but all the money I spent on gems and purchased plants these items are gone. Im on iPad and I'm not very happy. How do I get these gems back?

I hope you won't take this advice the wrong way but please make sure that you haven't created a different account by accident and that you are connected to the internet as these are two of the reasons why you would not see your profile / account.
If you're not playing with the wrong account and have a strong internet signal you'll need to contact PopCap for futher assistance with that issue. You can contact them here. Please allow them a few days to come back to you.
