Sorry to break the bad news but without back up and without knowing your original player ID, it will be near impossible for you to recover your account.  

Question:  

1) Did you register your email with EA to get 100 free gems on your original account?  If so, you should be able to recover your account by register again with the same email address. Once this is done, a set of code will be sent to your email address and you cn use it to reload your game saved progress.

2) Have you installed the game on more than one device? if you still have the game on another device, you can get your ID from there or simply register your email with EA so you can recover your account on the new installation.

3) Did you make any $$$ purchase and still have the receipt?  Event if you cannot get your original progress back, you maybe still able to claim these back onto your new account.

If you have neither of the above then your last resort will be trying to contact EA Help Center by clicking the link at the bottom of this page for your luck but be warned that the chance is very very slim, this is because your game data is saved on the server but without adequate information to link it to you (to prove you are the owner of the account) the advisor cannot do much.
