I have a 2017 iPad pro 10 (A1701) 512 mb, no cellular.  I'm running iOS 17.5.1.  I did noticed when the patch was being applied it was painfully slow which was odd.  I have another iPad pro 10 (A1701) 256 mb, iOS 17.5.1 that i only use for 3D printing that I just installed PvZ2 on to test out and it is doing the same thing. Super slow on everything.  Sound is correct but the graphics are very slow. On start up, the EA logo is fast but once it shows the PopCap slime log it's all slow from there.  Load time to make it to the main menu is about 2.5 minutes.  It's unplayable...... I'm going to get kicked out of the jade league this arena ☹️

    @Phatjimmy I have a nearly identical setup — iPad Pro A1709 (2017) running latest iPadOS (17.5.1) — and the identical problem. The game loads and plays at about 1/3 speed — essentially unplayable. I’m sure to be kicked out of the jade league, too :-/

    Unfortunately we are all having the same issues and will have to wait for an update to resolve the problem.
