We deserve better than this.

I'm not a master on game design but I think that a sequel should focus on the feedback it got from the original. A sequel should expand on the positive feedback by giving more of what people liked the most about the game and then address the negative feedback by reworking bad systems, including something that was missing or removing flaws. PvZ3 changes too much of the PvZ formula, which is okay but not for a sequel. If you really want to make something new, then make a spin-off.
