I'm holding on as I feel BfN has massive potential but there are still so many problems. I'm normally getting full matches in TT matches on PC but I did get a pretty empty one yesterday, it ended up 3 vs. 1 apparently somewhere along the line and that's just not fun at all. I did then find a full match afterwards but I can't imagine many people are enthused to play in a match that should be 12v12, starts at 5v5 and ends up 3v1 like that.
I love both GW games and especially GW2 with the Backyard Battleground, private matches, new characters, quests, and other stuff and played a ton of the 2nd game, more than TF2, Paladins, and Overwatch combined in fact so BfN really caught my eye but it feels to me like we shouldn't even be in Founder's yet; the serious PC issues some still have, the prize bulb grinding being so bad right now, the general performance issues, and the aiming/movement problems should have all been solved prior to a full launch.
I don't do a lot in GW2 these days although I did get that revive challenge done and got a million coins between the 3 chests, as I have everything done and was really excited for the new game but they have a lot of work to do and they need to get it done sooner rather than later. I actually like some of the design decisions they made but some of the core mechanisms are problematic and can drive people away.
I always felt that the GW games were criminally underrated as I'd rather play either of them over Overwatch or even TF2 so was hoping BfN would bring the game a larger community with the humor, setting, and other great features but the problems are bogging it down even worse than how bad GW2 was at launch. I'm still enjoying the game and mastered all the current characters over the weekend, but if things aren't handled soon it's going to be a rough time ahead and that would be a crying shame.
