Any status on why server's are down for Garden Warfare 1 and 2?

The servers have been down for nearly 5 hours, with no updates on what is happening with them and when they will return. Cheating issue has been at it's all time worse today, with cheaters joining in...

EA, why hasn't the cheating issue on the servers of "Garden War 2" been resolved yet? The cheating group has seriously affected the gaming experience of players. The daily active players of the game still remain above 1000. This game has no death penalty, and the problem of the server being attacked must be solved.
