I guess you could make a case for this to go in a different sub-forum, but I'm putting this here because more people read this, and I'm curious if others have had this issue.
I have noticed in a few of my games lately, the block meter for me and/or my opponent has had a full 8 sections filled in, yet the block did not register, it just sat there as if somebody had just played a body-gourd. Anybody know if this will see a fix soon?
It is not a glitch my friend, but a in-game mechanic.
The Block Meter cannot trigger if you have a full hand (10 cards), so I guess that's what happened to you/your opponent.
This is the only way (as far as I know) that you can actually get a completely full Block Meter (8 sections) like you said, as if someone had played the Body-gourd.
Bullseye will not set off a full meter either

Rule-wise the block meter does increase by 1-3 at random if you get attacked and then block the attack if full. bullseye right now does not interact with the meter whatsoever although I am pretty sure the ruling just says it doesn´t increase the meter. If thats the case, a full block meter should also block bullseye attacks because the meter is indeed full after the attack.
Now that I think about it; block-meter mechanics would be very nice. things like:
Aggro card;
"does something really good and aggressive fairly underpriced"
*keyword*
(keyword empties your block meter)
@patdk75this much I know, as that is the definition of the bullseye ability 🙂 no, the cards involved did not have bullseye. Maybe it was fixed in the recent patch, will notify if the issue persists
