Does closing Origin completely and relaunching do anything different?

    No that doesn't help, not even restarting the whole computer helps. This isn't a one person problem that closing and reopening the program is going to fix. They should try to address this issue soon, because it seems to be bugging a lot of people including myself, when I should of been able to play the game 24 hours ago.
