Have you made any progress on this?
I've unlocked multiple classes since the GV Pack launched, and haven't been able to get the third weapon upgrades on any except one, the Shadow Flower. I've bought a lot of 10/20k packs (current total spent is well over 2 million coins). Immediately after unlocking a class, I can buy a 10/20k pack and get the first two upgrades immediately, but the third just never seems to show. Is this a common problem? Are there any workarounds? It's a bit disappointing getting a Supremium pack with eight consumables inside.

- Agent Pea
- Hot Rod Chomper
- Fire Chomper
- Power Chomper
- Count Chompula
- Ice Cactus
- Arctic Trooper
- Plumber
- Chemist
- Physicist
- Astronaut
- Cricket Star
I have three upgrades on many other classes, but I believe they were all variants I unlocked before GV.
It's totally random, you don't always get an upgrade in a 20k pack. Sometimes I went several packs without getting any and then suddenly in one pack I got all three upgrades for one of my peashooters. Bad luck, just keep trying.
I understand it's meant to be random, but it seems like the third upgrades have been completely taken off the table (at least for me). I'm going on dozens of packs now with no third upgrades--and I'm simply not the type to be so phenominally lucky with all my other classes to have gotten the upgrades within a few packs of opening. :P
Even still, I don't think it's totally random, the game really does seem to try and give upgrades if they're available--I've been reliably getting the first two within one or two packs of unlocking a skin.
