Shouldn't Valve's Proton compatibility layer be able to run it? Isn't this more of a DRM issue?
@RSF07 That is a bit out of our hands to decide. Community Managers are not a part of the development teams for the games so we cannot really get into what should be able to happen.

I just realized I meant to say anti-cheat rather than DRM.
Regardless, how can I get in contact with the developers or at least with someone who can contact them?

@RSF07 I am afraid that you don't. Developers don't speak directly with players and there is no longer a development team working on the game.

@EA_ShepardI'm commenting here again because my last comment got deleted.
Sorry, but I don't think I understand what is the current state of this issue.
@RSF07asked about the E111000B at 00001D9B error. I did a quick Google search and found out that this error occurs when anti-cheat (intentionally) blocks Linux-Windows compatibility layers (like wine or proton).
So, I understand that you reported to the team as you said before but now you say there is no longer a team? Did they quit after hearing about this or what?
From what I know (and I think I know at least something), this is an anti-cheat issue. Is there no longer a team for EA Anti-Cheat? I don't understand.
Can we please get an update on this?
