Error Application unable to start correctly OXC000007B click to close when launching

i have the same problem. i find it stupid that the game is launch and u buy the game when is not even well done that is full of glitchs and bugs.

It might be using your IGP instead of your dGPU.

 nVidia Control Panel ->  3D Settings -> Program Settings -> Add PvZ -> set to high processor

Start -> type "Reliability" -> View Reliability History -> Find Crash -> Right Click -> View Technical Details

What I think is happening is it's using your Intel IGP.. which has old drivers and is crashing.

It does not have any errors or crashes for today at all under reliability history.  Did try the Nvidia setting but it didn't help, I still have the error when attempting to launch.  Is there another way to check this?

This is pretty bad advice... but it works for some people:  replacing DLLs with ones you get on the internet is like a major red flag :P  Those are safe as far as the files themselves go, I'll stake my reputation on that.

Yes, one of the other forum answers suggested the C++ so we had already tried that, but I tried it again just to be sure and no change.  I'm running the scan now. ...  "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations."

I'll try the DLL thing, one of the chat advisors started to tell me that, but the link to MIcrosoft he gave me for DLLs didn't work and then I lost him.

It might be a decent idea to back up the old ones you replace.  I should have said that.

Replacing DLLs... is something you should only do as a last resort.  Even then it's a bad answer.

I wish you had said that first, I copied the DLL and now the Origin program doesn't work, and neither does PvZGW.

I'm trying to restore back, but any ideas how to get them back?

I'd try updating the C++ now though, maybe reinstall Origin.

DLLs might need re-registered?

Open CMD as Admin 

regsvr32 <theDLLsName>.dll

You could try this

for %d in (*.dll) do regsvr32 -s %d

System restore I tried first, and it worked, Origin works again, and other games run.  Opens super slow though, I will try the registration
