9 years agoTo be honest, I didn't even know this was a thing, even after playing well over two thousand games since launch. I have to assume that it because:
A) Sargent Strongberry has a very fragile body and commands to be removed as soon as he hits to field, so it's hard to have two at once.
or
B) The person would have to wait to get to 10 sun to drop both and play the berry blast, at which point a kill-combo is way OK.
But if it works like what you guys are saying, it would indeed make sense that the shield stops it.
- 9 years agoIt just happened to me today. Two strong berries and a berry blast to my hero. My shield triggered but never fully activated. The berries just kept hitting me with my "activated" shield showing on screen. The shield is supposed to block damage, so why do the berries keep attacking? This really is ridiculous and I'm surprised at how long it's taken to get it resolved. If he works as intended then I guess we're out of luck. If he doesn't, then remove the card from the game until it does.
