Fair or unfair? Two strawberries and berry blast combo

I have an important issue to point out. I came across a player who played two strawberries on the field and used the berry blast on the zombie hero, the zombie hero became defenseless; not even the shield will block the repetitive assault of the two berries. The zombie hero's health dropped from 18 to 0 within one turn. I just think the strawberry card should to be limited on how many times it can repeat the attack of other berries.

  • Im chiming in fair. You have to set it up as well as get a good card draw. If dropping a teleport and a 20 Valk is fair I'm not sure how anyone can say this isn't.

    That's your reasoning?

Who said using teleport and Valkyrie are fair.?

If I punch some kid in the face after someone punches my kid in the face, is that fair?

    Eye for an eye, right?

    Even Steven!

    Fair is fair!

    Right?

I destroyed someone on turn 6 with this combo on the weekend because they were annoying me with their slow play.

It was a good reminder of how cheap and unfair this is.

And if Strongberry was only useful for that combo, I would take him out of all my decks the same way I did with Valkyrie.

I think it is hard to argue this as a bug or unintended outcome. This combination is featured in one of the single player missions.

Take a moment to work out the logic of it, and look at some examples of it in the field and you will see that it is both logical within the game and, occassionally, stoppable.

Just cause you don't like it doesn't make it unfair, or even op.

    Fair.

There are multiple game terminating cards that can be played with 8-12 sun/brains that either win the game out right or put you on the edge of winning.

This is no different, in fact it's harder to play this combo rather than most of the "super" cards.

Ultimately, if someone was just sitting  on the strawberry cards and you didn't manage to defeat him/her, it's your fault.

If they put the strawberries in play and you allowed them to live, it's your own fault.

    Yes, actually, it is.

Saw this in the Dev Q&A thread and thought it answered this:

Q from @Guacodile42 - Are you focusing on making more powerful cards in the following classes – Crazy, Beastly, Mega-Grow, Guardian?

PvZ Heroes Team: Each class has its own abilities and its own areas of the game where it’s the best. Our goal is to have every class be “overpowered” in its own unique way, with all the classes being balanced against each other as a result. We keep an eye on the win rates of the Classes, which are generally quite close. As we make new cards, we try to help classes and strategies that need it the most.
