Contacted MS, then had to contact the EA team twice. Now, I am awaiting for a specialist to see what they can do. Still have not resolved the issue and it seems like only two people encountered this problem or at least the exact same problem but others have similar issues.

Hope this is address soon, I strongly believe it is not a network issue on my end but a bug in the game causing me to crash. Mainly because it only occurs with this game and a other forum members had similar issues. Any solutions yet?

I get the exact same issue as you have detailed, same scenario where all other games work, works online , but when a friend tries to join me they crash, or if I join them they crash aswell... Does this for EVERY EA sports game I own, madden NHL and Rory McIlroy, I can play ANY other game with friend who crashes no problem. It's a bug with EA that they are refusing to acknowledge as their issue and blame us.

  It works on and off from my experience. Hard reset your console for both accounts trying to connect and attempt to boot it back up. After hard resetting once just force close the game anytime after. That's what worked for me, hopefully it helps anyone else. It doesn't seem to be as severe of an issue as it was at launch so I assume they did something.
